More Reviews for Egyptian Days

Having read Egyptian Nights, I can say that Egyptian Days is an equally
breathtaking read. With vivid descriptions, the reader is mesmerized with
the romance and passion between Victoria and Khaemhat. The ambience stirs on
every page, as well as just a touch of mystery. Jennifer Mueller, once
again, scores a rare story. It is seasoned with intrigue and desire that
engages the reader and immerses them in the essence of Egypt.

Egyptian Days is another exciting,
intriguing, must-read from accomplished author Jennifer Mueller. A strong
historical background coupled with romantic sensuality and interwoven with
paranormal and mythological elements keep the reader enthralled from first
paragraph right through to the end. Appealing characters who seem as real as
our own neighbours and friends also keep the reader's attention, and a
strong plot line with roller-coaster convolutions make Egyptian Days a true
winner, and a strong candidate for any reader's Keeper Shelf.

Egyptian Days is a wonderful sequel to Egyptian Nights. Victoria and
Khaemhat are finally getting to spend time together and their love is
beautiful. Neither had a good spouse or life before they were thrown
together by fate and just when everything is within their grasp someone
throws a kink in their future plans by framing Victoria for murder. Victoria
is desperate to prove her innocence and Khaemhat is the same. Ms. Mueller
has penned another keeper filled with the simplicity and beauty of ancient
Egypt as only she can bring to life. Egyptian Days is a poignant glimpse at
a time in history that enchants many and will not disappoint the reader.

It is no secret that I love
Jennifer Mueller’s work and the only regret I have is that I was not the one
that reviewed the first book of her Egyptian's story. I loved the Egyptian
setting, unconventional and at the same time, so exotic. As for the
characters, they were both likeable and real; their love is something
everyone would wish to live.

Mueller’s story is unique, both
for its premise and setting. It isn’t often that you find a romance based
in Egypt and you don’t often find stories about married couples. Mueller
pulls off both aspects rather well, showing her extensive knowledge in
Egyptian culture, traditions and society. She also does a nice job of
continuing to develop the characters, and she takes advantage of the
situations that arise from Victoria inhabiting someone else’s body.

They have a friendship combined
with dizzying physical attraction; they are a terrific match. They are the kind of cute couple you like to see at
parties, because they’re so obviously in love.
There is a lot going on in Egyptian Days. In fact, there’s so much story
and character interaction that readers (this one included) will put the
book down, sigh a little that it’s over, and be glad to have met Victoria
and Khaemhat.
