More Reviews for Behind the Mask

B from Dear Author:

The author has in this short story, penned an erotic episode that will sizzle the toes of the reader. Ms. Mueller involves all the senses and her characters reach the heart of the reader. Her characters are multi-dimensional and the reader can relate very well to them. The sex scenes are very tastefully done and are sensual, passionate and romantic. The reader will certainly be captivated and soon panting! The setting is exotic, drawing the reader into the story. This is the first truly erotic story that this reviewer has read from Ms. Mueller and it was a real treat. This reviewer certainly hopes that she will write more erotic stories.

Jennifer Mueller has penned a short but delightful tale of two people married to strangers, and yet trying to make the best of it in spite of the social strictures. Needing the love she has not found in her marriage, Illaria decides to search for her ideal. Then, she would determinedly track down the ingrate she was married to, and what happens would be thrown to fate. For Fiorenzo, the same could be said, but he was just coming to grips with the loss of his beloved mistress. There has been no time to mourn her, and it hurt him for he had truly loved her. Now he had to face facts, he was being driven to find satisfaction, and the woman behind the peacock mask beckoned to him with innocent seduction. Behind the Mask is a very quick read, a very satisfying read, and it is delightful in spite of the length. Jennifer has packed a handful of surprises behind each corner, so sit back and enjoy Behind the Mask from Venus Press.

Behind the Mask

I found myself easily relating to Ilaria as a real individual, even though the situation she found herself in is rare for our day and age. I liked this story very much, and would recommend it to anyone who relishes reading about bygone eras.

Behind the Mask by Jennifer Mueller was a combustible read. The love scene between Fiorenzo and Ilaria almost scorched my palm pilot.
