Peace Corps I served in Kenya 97-99 and met my husband there.  Yes I'm a Peace Corps bride.  Our daughter has already been warned she'll have a home to come back to until she's out of college and after that she's on her own, we'll be out doing it again. www.peacecorps.gov	Lifewater International I haven't worked with them, but they have a resource that Peace Corps swears by.  If you want to know anything about construction and sanitation in the developing world this is it.   www.lifewater.org/resources/tech_library.html
Not sure what this one falls under, but its a site that is working on covering all the music of Kenya.  Included is lots of history of the tribes, customs, folklore.  Plus the guy works on the Rough Guides in Africa. http://www.bluegecko.org/kenya/	Okay maybe not non profit but they are the the publisher of Where There is no Doctor
